Boeing Completes First CH-47F Chinook Flight
PHILADELPHIA, June 29, 2001 -- The first CH-47F Chinook Engineering and Manufacturing Development prototype completed its first flight on June 25, 2001, at Boeing Philadelphia's flight ramp by the Delaware River. The flight occurred on the exact date Boeing and the Army set more than three years ago in the initial Chinook Modernization Program agreement.
