Tiltrotor Technology Demo Day - V-22 Makes Public Debut at Pentagon
WASHINGTON, D.C., , Sept. 10, 1999 -- The U.S. Marine Corps' first production MV-22B landed on the Pentagon parade grounds lawn along with the Bell XV-15 tiltrotor for a day of exhibit and orientation flights. More than 1,000 Pentagon employees walked through the Osprey during its public debut, which received widespread media coverage.
