| Dan Dubbs was named Vice President, Launch Operations, in March 2009 and is responsible for the leadership, management and coordination of the Sea Launch operations team. Prior to this position, he was Deputy Vice President, Launch Operations, since 2006, leading the day-to-day direction of the operations team and serving as the focal for all aspects of marine and rocket segment integration, strategic and campaign planning, equatorial launch operations and overall management of Home Port facilities and vessels. Earlier, Dan was Sea Launch’s Senior Mission Director, responsible for launch vehicle processing, launch crew certification and launch operations, team and procedural integration, readiness reviews and performing master procedures during launch vehicle processing and operations. Over the course of his career, Dan has accumulated some 35 years of communications and launch operations management. He has directly supported more than 60 launches for the Sea Launch, Atlas, Titan IV, Titan 34D and Space Shuttle systems. Dan has an M.S. degree in Engineering Management from the Florida Institute of Technology, a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University and an A.A. in Electronics Technology from the Community College of the Air Force. He is a member of the International Business Association, Long Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Long Beach. |
