September 12 -
The Sea Launch Commander lines up in front of the Odyssey Launch Platform in preparation for the transfer of the Zenit-3SL rocket from the ship to the platform.

The rocket rolls out of the assembly hall on the ship. It lies in a cradle on the ship's ramp.

Workers attach clamps at two points on the rocket.

These clamps facilitate lifting the rocket on two cables extended from the hangar on the platform.

The rocket is lifted up to the hangar ...

... and rolled in, atop the transporter-erector.
