Following repeated delays in November due to unusually strong currents at the launch site, the Sea Launch teams prepares for the launch of Thuraya-3 once again. With increased power and fuel capabilities on the Launch Platform now and the potential for using existing margins on identified launch parameters, the team expects to be able to enhance launch availability. Here, Keith Dayton, vice president of Launch Operations, offers parting remarks to well wishers on the pier and conducts a traditional readiness poll of team leaders, prior to the Sea Launch Commander setting off for the launch site.
