Boeing is a founding member of Joining Forces–the administration's initiative to educate, challenge and spark action from all sectors to ensure military families and veterans have the support they have earned.

Boeing and American Corporate Partners have been working to help veterans develop civilian career paths and build professional networks. This is particularly important as the unemployment rate for veterans who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces at any time since September 2001 remains as high as 12.1 percent.

About 24,500 veterans are currently employed at Boeing and many continue to serve in the National Guard and Reserves.

Boeing has hired and trained nearly 3,000 veterans in the past 21 months for jobs at the company.

Boeing has a long-standing commitment to supporting men and women in uniform and military families through advocacy and support of USO, the Military Spouse Corporate Career Network and Joining Forces, a national initiative to support and honor service members and their families.
