Joining Forces
Boeing is a founding member of Joining Forces–the administration's initiative to educate, challenge and spark action from all sectors to ensure military families and veterans have the support they have earned. Boeing committed to hiring 1,000 veterans in 2011–a total that was exceeded with the hiring of more than 1,800 veterans whose skills and experience matched the company's needs.
American Corporate Partners
Boeing is a supporter of American Corporate Partners, a nationwide mentoring program dedicated to helping veterans transition from the armed services to the civilian workforce. Through mentoring, career counseling and networking during a yearlong mentorship, transitioning armed services personnel interact with Boeing professionals to understand and develop career paths and build professional networks.

Boeing is a lead sponsor of CASY and MSCCN, two non-profits that provide no-cost employment readiness and vocational training, and one-on-one job placement services for military Veterans, National Guard and Reserves, spouses and caregivers of war wounded.

National Math and Science Initiative for Military Families
The National Math and Science Initiative (NMSI) and Boeing joined forces for a major expansion of the Initiative for Military Families, which provides college-level courses in math, science and English for students from military families. Boeing's support means that NMSI's highly-successful Advanced Placement Training and Incentive Program is being expanded to four new schools serving high concentrations of military families in 2012.
USO
Boeing is a USO Worldwide Strategic Partner through its support of USO centers and programs around the world. Through volunteerism, various employee giving campaigns and corporate support, Boeing is helping the USO "lift the spirits of America's troops and their families."
The Mission Continues
Boeing recently entered into a partnership with The Mission Continues, a national non-profit organization that "challenges veterans to serve and lead in communities across America." The Mission Continues awards community service fellowships to post-9/11 veterans, empowering them to transform their own lives by serving others and directly impacting their communities. Mission Continues Fellows serve for six months at a local nonprofit organization addressing key educational, environmental or social issues. Each Fellow works to achieve one of three outcomes at the conclusion of the fellowship: full-time employment, pursuit of higher education or a permanent role of service.
