Ties That Bind

As a child I was very interested in airplanes, and Boeing has always been my favorite airplane and aircraft factory. I even became a commercial pilot, and now I'm a retired pilot and 71 years old.
I have a long personal history with Boeing. Many of my mother's family live in Seattle and around Washington. Although I live in Norway, when I was 12 years old I lived in Darrington, Wash., with my family, and several family members worked at Boeing.
As a pensioner I have used the time to write books about airplanes and flight. A few years ago, I started writing a book about Norwegian workers who have worked at Boeing, Norwegian companies and Norwegian airlines that have had, and still have, connections to Boeing.
