Audiences far and wide are drawing inspiration from the groundbreaking women featured in “Hidden Figures,” and for students and professionals in the STEM fields, the accomplishments of these pioneers have special significance. That’s why Boeing is proud to be the presenting sponsor of the National Society of Black Engineers “Hidden Figures” Mixer and Power Panel discussion series.

At these events, students and professionals in California, Ohio and Washington D.C. heard from a variety of African American STEM professionals, including Boeing leaders. They shared their challenges, accomplishments and what they see for the future. #BlackSTEMlikeme brings these conversations to social media so more can participate and be encouraged.

We are inspired by the achievements of the women in “Hidden Figures” and celebrate the successes of today’s African American engineers at Boeing. Below are some examples of these inspiring women.
