Notice on Fradulent Job Offers

What is Recruitment Fraud?

Recruitment fraud is a sophisticated scam offering fake job opportunities to job seekers. This type of fraud is normally carried out through online services such as false websites, or through fake emails claiming to be from the company.

The fraudsters often request recipients to provide personal information and to make payments as part of their fake recruiting process. They may also offer fraudulent employment opportunities to applicants and often ask for sensitive personal and financial information, including requiring candidates to arrange travel for face-to-face interviews with a certain travel agency.

The Boeing Company and/or its affiliates (“Boeing”) does not collect any financial commitment from candidates as a pre-employment requirement.

How to Identify Recruitment Fraud?

1. All Boeing applicants are required to only apply for Boeing jobs through www.boeing.com.

2. Fraudulent job offers often ask for financial or personal information early in the process. Boeing does not ask for any financial commitment or contribution from a candidate at any stage of the recruitment process.

3. A fraudulent offer may ask you to book travel through a certain travel agency with the promise to reimburse travel costs.

Boeing has no responsibility for fraudulent offers and advises candidates to follow the guidance provided above.
