Boeing Business Jets Announces Launch of BBJ MAX 9 Program

BBJ MAX 9 ordered by an undisclosed customer
Deal marks the fifth BBJ MAX on firm order

Boeing Business Jets announced the sale of the first BBJ MAX 9 today at the Paris Airshow. The BBJ MAX 9 was ordered by an undisclosed European customer.

"We are thrilled to announce that the BBJ MAX 9 program is officially launched with our first BBJ MAX 9 order," said David Longridge, president, Boeing Business Jets. "While maintaining the unmatched cabin comfort of today's BBJ, the BBJ MAX's lower fuel use, increased range capability, updated flight deck, lower noise and reduced emissions enable the airplane to better meet the diverse needs of our VIP customers."

This BBJ MAX 9 sale marks the fifth BBJ MAX on order; with four firm orders for the BBJ MAX 8 model.

Boeing Business Jets offers a wide variety of ultra-large-cabin, long range airplanes perfectly suited for the private jet market. The product line includes the BBJ and BBJ MAX family as well as Boeing widebody airplanes including the BBJ 787, 777, and 747-8.
