Boeing delivered flydubai's 50th Next-Generation 737-800 on Sept. 16, 2015, marking the completion of the order placed by the Dubai-based low cost airline in June 2008.

flydubai continued its strategy as an all-Boeing operator with an order for 11 additional 737-800s and 75 737 MAXs announced at the 2013 Dubai Airshow, representing Boeing's largest order for single-aisle airplanes in the Middle East.
