20 Years of Service: SunExpress Celebrates with Special Next Generation 737-800 Livery

SunExpress Airlines of Turkey celebrated its 20th Anniversary by unveiling an exciting new livery at a special event in Antalya, the airline's home. Over 2500 employees, customers, distributors and vendors attended the outdoor event on May 1. SunExpress used its anniversary celebration to launch its new corporate identity, including a new logo, livery, corporate colors, uniforms and entire visual identity elements. The new paint scheme was revealed on a newly-delivered Next-Generation 737-800, the first of 6 aircraft that the carrier will take delivery of in 2010. SunExpress also displayed its special “Paint Book” livery, which was designed by Turkish and German art students to celebrate Istanbul as the “2010 Culture Capital of Europe.” SunExpress is owned jointly by Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, and has been operating since April 1990.
