Sarah Koopmann is the Chief Human Resources Officer for Boeing Global Services and also serves as the Global Head of Executive Talent for The Boeing Company. She leads the strategy and execution of people initiatives that drive business outcomes for Boeing’s services business supporting commercial, government and aviation industry customers worldwide.

As Global Head of Executive Talent, Koopmann is responsible for developing and executing an executive talent strategy to attract, acquire, assess and develop the senior most leaders of the company.

Koopmann previously served as vice president of Human Resources for four enterprise functions: Enterprise Services, Finance, Sustainability and Human Resources. She has held leadership roles in Global Services and Boeing’s Defense Space and Security business.

Koopmann began her career at Boeing as an intern and has had a series of roles throughout the HR function including talent management, organization effectiveness, change management, mergers and acquisition, and labor relations.

She is passionate about creating an open, transparent, and inclusive workplace where all 20,000+ Global Services teammates in over 40 countries around the world can thrive at work and in their personal lives. She is a member of Boeing’s business resource groups and active in supporting women in leadership, adults with disabilities, and veterans.

Outside of Boeing, Koopmann is committed to making a positive impact in her community and serves on the Board of Directors for Eye Thrive, a St. Louis based non-profit with the mission to ensure no child fails to thrive simply because they cannot afford vision services.

Koopmann has a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Dayton and a master’s degree in human resources and industrial relations from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana.
