Kristen Richmond was appointed EU Policy Managing Director and deputy head of Boeing’s Brussels office in August 2022.

In this role, Richmond will represent the company’s interests with European Union institutions, international organisations, suppliers and partners in the region with a focus on commercial aviation issues.

As part of Boeing’s European team, she will contribute to the strong connections and solid relationships with stakeholders across the region and support policies that advance the EU economy, promote sustainable growth, and contribute to a safe, innovative and competitive aerospace system that connects EU citizens and businesses.

Richmond brings to Brussels over 30 years of private and public sector experience in policy, law and international business.

Prior to her current position, she served in various key strategic and executive positions across Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Boeing Global, Boeing Capital Corporation, as well as at Microsoft, the American Heart Association and the U.S. Senate, where she started her policy career as legislative aide in Washington, D.C.

Richmond graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law and practiced law for five years before returning to her work in policy. She is a member of the bar in both Alaska and Washington state. She earned a bachelor’s degree in European history and diplomacy from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
