Boeing F-15 mission systems engineer Chris Miller is living his dream – and sharing it.
Miller has created his own mobile flight simulator that he takes to local schools in St. Louis, to highlight science, technology, engineering, and math skills, opening up the world of flight to students who normally might not get the chance to experience it.
“There are no limits. I think they see the technology here and they get behind the controls and take control of it…they can believe in themselves,” Miller said.
“I’ve never been on an airplane before so this probably gives me a chance to experience what being on a plane is like,” said Teresa Prater, a student at Bermuda Elementary School in Ferguson,Mo., who took part in the mobile flight experience.
