Boeing donates $1.4 million to support military veterans and Afghan allies
Funding will go toward Afghanistan humanitarian relief efforts, interpreter and refugee resettlement, veteran service projects, wellbeing initiatives and Blue Star Families.

Boeing sponsored the 2021 Travis Manion Foundation 9/11 Heroes Run, a 5K that honors the heroes of 9/11 and those who have served since.
Photo courtesy: Travis Manion FoundationBoeing announced a $1.4 million donation package to assist with humanitarian relief efforts for Afghan allies as well as grants and initiatives to support and honor U.S. military veterans and their families.
“As an Army war veteran, I know how acutely the recent events in Afghanistan coupled with the 20th anniversary of the September 11 attacks have affected those who served,” said Jason Pak, director of veterans outreach and Boeing Global Engagement mid-Atlantic region. “However, out of the darkness there is oftentimes a glimmer of light, and I’m proud that we are able to support these communities in times of need.”
