Personal Information:

self-identified military veterans status for U.S.-based employees only and Years of Service, Name, BEMSID, Business e-mail. These will be data fields transferred from Workday to Qualtrics.

 

What are the purposes of processing personal data in this activity? These surveys and interview(s) will collect employee feedback about a wide range of topics related to their employment experience at the Boeing Company and/or participating Subsidiaries, including opinions regarding their development, leadership, culture and willingness to return. The responses are combined with organizational information and reported in aggregate to HR and Boeing Management to improve and inform HR policies, processes and practices, including Manager effectiveness. The bemsid of the exiting employee is to employee information. All information collect is confidential.
What is the legal basis for processing personal data in this activity? The data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes.
How may consent be withdrawn?

If not offered as a self-service capability within the "ELOR - Boeing Exit Survey" data processing activity or otherwise addressed in an answer here, consent may be withdrawn using https://boeing.com/privacy/rightsexerciseportal.

Is the data subject (the person to whom the data relates) required to provide personal information for this processing activity, and what would be the possible consequences of failing to do so? Provision of personal information for this processing activity is not required.  If an employee or former elects not to take the survey or participate in the interview, there is no detriment to the individual. This survey is completely voluntary. However, if a employee or former employee elects to not take the survey or participate in the interview, the data and reason for leaving Boeing will not be collected.
Who are the recipients of the personal data in this activity? The data is received by Qualtrics. The Boeing Employee Listening team in the U.S. and India are the sole individuals within Boeing that may have access to individually identifying information of survey respondents, such as a BEMS ID. The use of this information by the Employee Listening Team is limited to connecting survey responses with other data sets at Boeing for the purposes of analytics but never for the purpose of singling out the responses of an individual for use in performance management or other individual-focused business decisions. Any identifiable PII returned back to the Boeing Employee Listening team is solely for the purpose of secondary data analytics to provide a more thorough understanding of employees in aggregate at Boeing. Other Boeing HR personnel, non-HR leaders, and non-HR employee will not have access to this information. Information about managers is reported at the individual level.
Ethics will conduct regular reviews of the Exit survey and interview responses, to determine if any constitute allegations of misconduct or violations of Boeing POLs or PROs and, where appropriate, refer them for investigation through established PROs.
In what countries will the personal data be processed? The personal information will only be processed in the United States and India. HR will be able to view and download aggregated reports in jurisdiction in which they are located.

How long will the personal data be retained by this activity? The data will be retained for three years after the close of the survey.
