What are the purposes of processing personal data in this activity? Vaccination status information will be used for workforce and facilities planning decisions (e.g., for making return to work decisions, capacity planning, travel approvals, etc.) and to support COVID-19 response activities and decisions.
What is the scope of this privacy notice?  The scope of this notice is about the collection of information related to vaccination status of India based workforce and may be periodically updated as the program expands. What are the types of information we collect?   Vaccination status, including COVID-19 vaccinations, and related information (e.g., type of vaccine, dates for initial vaccination(s), dates for boosters). 
What is the legal basis of processing personal data?   Processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject.
Processing is necessary for purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data, in particular where the data subject is a child. Is the data subject (the person to whom the data relates) required to provide personal information for this processing activity, and what would be the possible consequences of failing to do so? Provision of personal information for this processing activity is not required.  Boeing India may require that individuals in certain roles provide their vaccination status. Otherwise, information is collected and processed either with your voluntary consent and/or based on our legitimate interests to maintain a safe working environment and for workforce and facility planning. The basis of collection will depend on the privacy and data protection compliance requirements that apply in the location where the employee is located. Consequences of failing to provide this data may include limitations on your ability to be selected for assignments and business-related travel, deployments and to be assigned particular tasks and ultimately disciplinary action in limited circumstances where vaccination status may be required. Additionally, Boeing can be penalized if we are unable to provide the required data during health authority inspections.
Who are the recipients of the personal data in this activity? Individual vaccination status information will be accessible by Health Services, and members of the COVID response team who have a business need to see the information. Direct management as needed for purposes of making business decisions (fully vaccinated or not). Aggregate reports will be provided to company management and leadership.
In what countries will the personal data be processed? The personal information will be used by business processes based in India.

The personal information will only be stored in the Darwin Server in the United Kingdom.

How long will the personal data be retained by this activity? Data will be retained in accordance with medical policies for health data retention and as per the government mandates.
