What
are
the purposes of
processing personal data in this activity? |
The personal information will be used while conducting Usability Research. Usability Research includes numerous methods of observing users trying to use a product and collecting data about specific ways that it is easy or difficult to use. These methods provide measures of how well a product successfully supports the tasks that users need to perform with a system. Some methods elicit user requirements, and others help identify a customer/user’s mental model, which often influences the way they approach a goal. Success rate of task completions, time to complete tasks, errors, participants’ preferences and perceptions, and comments and approach from research participants are some examples of data that are collected during usability research. Results from usability research help to identify areas where a product’s user interface could be improved. This improvement might be redesigning a product to reduce errors, increase performance speed, or reduce users’ confusion. |
