The only data that is collected is the names, business email and/or personal email and organization name if applicable.

 

What are the purposes of processing personal data in this activity? The learner provides personal info (name & business email and/or personal email for registration) to Learnworlds to register for an online course. Upon completion and successful assessment, Learnworlds will send completion record to a middleware provider, Zapier, which in turn processes the completion record and transfers it to the third-party educational provider Credly to issue the digital credential (badge) to the participant.
What is the legal basis for processing personal data in this activity? The data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes.
How may consent be withdrawn?

If not offered as a self-service capability within the "LD - Boeing Global Learning Institute (Learnworlds)" data processing activity or otherwise addressed in an answer here, consent may be withdrawn using https://boeing.com/privacy/rightsexerciseportal.

Is the data subject (the person to whom the data relates) required to provide personal information for this processing activity, and what would be the possible consequences of failing to do so? Provision of personal information for this processing activity is not required.  This processing activity is not mandatory; however, the learner would not be able to create an account with Learnworlds.
Who are the recipients of the personal data in this activity? Account administrators with Boeing Learning & Development, Learnworlds, Zapier, Credly, and the data subject.
In what countries will the personal data be processed? All data is processed in the EU with the exception of sub processors that located in the USA and Ireland.

The personal information will be stored in the United States and EU region.

How long will the personal data be retained by this activity? Each December, BGLI Admin reviews and notifies the users whose accounts are greater than 365 days inactive. By December 10, of each year, if the user does not indicate/notify that the access is still needed, the user will be removed. By December 11, of each year, the BGLI Administrator purges all identified inactive accounts, updates the account purge log, and stores the log on the BGLI SharePoint site.
What specific privacy rights may the individuals whose personal data is processed by this activity have, and how can they be exercised? Anyone may have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (https://boeing.com/privacy/authorities.html).
