St. Louis Veterans Honor Wall Honors Service and Sacrifice
The Boeing St. Louis Employee Veterans Honor Wall recognizes St. Louis employees and retirees who serve with honor and distinction in the United States Armed Forces.
The St. Louis Veterans Task Force organizes and hosts three annual events for Boeing / McDonnell Douglas St. Louis employees, retirees, customers, and friends. The events held at Building 100’s Veterans Plaza, the Boeing Prologue area and auditorium, or Building 33, are open to the public. The St. Louis site began holding formal Veterans Recognition Ceremonies in the late 1990s. The Honor Wall was dedicated on November 11, 2005, as a unified vision and culmination of unfailing support by Boeing St. Louis Site Leadership and the St. Louis Veterans Task Force, an all-volunteer team of both veteran and non-veteran employees.
The Honor Wall contains five seven-foot-high, circular stainless-steel walls, with a flagpole between each section. Dog-tag shaped plaques attached to the Wall include the names and service branches of current and former Boeing and McDonnell Douglas St. Louis employees. The Honor Wall is illuminated at night and includes a diversity of employees and their branch of service. A fountain stands at the center, surrounded with benches to sit that allow visitors to rest and reflect on the contributions made by our veteran employees and all those whose sacrifices protect the freedoms we enjoy.
New names are added to the Honor Wall on a semi-annual basis and an available book lists name locations of each veteran employee. New names may be added by submitting the completed Veteran Employee Honor Wall Authorization Form, available below.

Armed Forces & Memorial Day Observance

Building 33 Café Auditorium
This ceremony will honor our United States Armed Forces and all service members who gave their lives in defense of a great nation. The event allows for Boeing employees and friends an opportunity to gather in recognition and remembrance of all men and women serving in the military, even our fallen veterans, and all the contributions given in service and sacrifice. The event, open to veterans, employees, retirees and friends, will include special guest speakers, a focus on honoring Vietnam Veterans, a wreath laying presentation, special live music, and light refreshments. A special event tribute will be given to all in attendance.

National POW/MIA Recognition Day Observance
Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018, 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Building 100 Prologue Room Auditorium
This event is an opportunity for employees and retirees with their guests to attend a special presentation to honor those affected, us all, as POW/MIA veterans. Event tribute takeaways and light refreshments will be provided.

Veterans Recognition Ceremony

Building 100 Veterans Plaza
Join us in a gathering of recognition and "salute" to our St. Louis site veteran employees and fellow Boeing customers and partners - both current and retired. Family guests and friends are all invited. Light refreshments including cake and coffee are provided, with seating and area heaters/blankets offered for use during the ceremony.
Honored Vietnam Veteran guest speakers will share brief words of appreciation and reflection, and stories of success and honor.
