Q: How did your company get started?
A: Phil G. Busey Sr. founded Delaware Resource Group of Oklahoma in 2002. Since then, DRG, now a Busey family-owned and -operated business, has grown into one of the largest aerospace and defense contractors in the region.

A: DRG provides services to Boeing including program management, instruction, curriculum development, contractor logistics services, procurement, sourcing and logistics.

Q: What does it mean to your company to be recognized as a Supplier of the Year?
A: We are proud to receive this honor, which is a testament to the employees who dedicate themselves to servicing the men and women of the United States military, as well as our allied nations. Delaware Resource Group of Oklahoma’s (DRG) entire existence started with a Boeing contract. We would not be where we are today without the relationship we have built with Boeing.
Q: What characteristics about your team do you most credit for your company’s achievement?
A: DRG consistently provides flexibility, agility, and long-standing experience to Boeing on all programs we support. We know we must remain willing to offer different options and innovative ideas, as well as work tirelessly to be a partner, not just a subcontractor, to ensure success. Therefore, we have been able to support numerous programs as we have established our team as a value-added resource dedicated to success on each project or program.

A: DRG prides itself on its ability to adjust its service offerings to cover the changing needs of customers. Customer success is our mission. This means we must strive for agility, flexibility, and new ways of doing business to support growing and changing demands.
