747-8 Intercontinental surpasses 25-percent design milestone
EVERETT, Wash., April 27, 2009 -- Boeing [NYSE: BA] has completed 25 percent of the design releases for the 747-8 Intercontinental. This means a quarter of the information needed to build parts and tools for assembly has been completed and released for fabrication or procurement.
