Air Pacific Increases Boeing 787 Dreamliner Orders

SEATTLE, Jan. 14, 2008 -- Fiji-based Air Pacific has ordered three additional Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, and now holds eight orders for the efficient twin-aisle jetliner. Air Pacific placed its first order in 2006.

The 787-9 is the largest of the three-model family and will carry 250 - 290 passengers on routes of 8,000 to 8,500 nautical miles (14,800 to 15,750 kilometers).
