Christy Reese is vice president of Commercial Sales and Marketing - Asia Pacific for The Boeing Company, the world’s largest aerospace company and the leading manufacturer of commercial airplanes and provider of aftermarket support. Appointed to this position in March, 2019, Reese is responsible for all commercial airplanes and services sales in Singapore, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
Prior to her current role, Reese served as vice president of Commercial Sales and Marketing Operations with overall responsibility for developing and implementing strategies to better meet customer fleet and operational requirements and improve sales for Boeing. Her organization also tracked sales performance, facilitated customer agreements, and provided program management support. During her tenure, Reese launched a function-wide transformation program that included greater use of analytics and major investments in training and digital tools and systems to encourage more linear and predictive outcomes.
Previously, Reese served as director of the Commercial Sales and Marketing Operations group.
Reese has also served as a sales director in Asia Pacific & India and North America, where she led all facets of customer engagement with key Boeing customers such as Air Canada, Air New Zealand, Virgin Australia and other leading global carriers.
She has also held leadership roles for key sales organizations, including serving as the business director and deputy vice president for Boeing’s Leasing and Asset Management group. She assumed this role after working as an account manager in Asia Pacific at Boeing Capital Corporation where she structured and provided financing to ensure the sale and delivery of Boeing products and services.
Before she joined the sales organization, Reese worked as a regional director in contracts, managing business transactions and relationships with a significant number of airline lessors and airlines in Europe.
Reese holds a Bachelor’s of Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California (USC).
