Boeing has earned the tenth spot on Forbes’ 2022 list of “America’s Best Employers for Veterans.” During a recent interview with Forbes, Boeing Veteran Engagement Team (BVET) Business Resource Group (BRG) President Jason Frei highlighted Boeing’s commitment to veterans and their families, enterprise engagement efforts and continued investment in the veteran talent pipeline.
Frei credits a strong sense of mission and loyalty as key in attracting veteran talent to Boeing and highlights the valuable role BVET members play in helping recently transitioned veterans acclimate to life after military service.
“We’re the voice of the veteran at Boeing. They know we've ‘walked the walk’ in service and in transition,” Frei said. “Being a veteran isn't a job, it's who you are. We take it upon ourselves to match up and be a resource for veterans who are new to the Boeing team.”
Boeing remains committed to ensuring our military-connected
communities have the opportunity to build competitive and successful
careers in aerospace. To support this, BVET operates 29 local
employee-led engagement teams with nearly 4,000 members in the U.S. and
around the globe including in the UK, Australia, India and Canada.
