In the heart of Seattle, a powerful collaboration is taking shape through the Team of Champions, sponsored by Boeing.

The Team of Champions brings together the Seahawks and Boeing to honor remarkable community organizations making a significant impact in the region. From addressing environmental conservation to supporting military veterans and their families, these organizations embody the spirit of community and resilience.

Throughout this fall, Seahawks legend Marcus Trufant joins Boeing teammates to visit and learn more about each organization. The Team of Champions mission is to celebrate those working to make our communities better and highlight the breadth of work they do to support those in need.

“As a Puget Sound native, I’ve always believed in giving back to the community that gave so much to me,” Trufant shares. “The Team of Champions celebrates organizations that are making a real difference. What I appreciate most about Boeing is their deep local roots. Their story began right here in Washington, and that connection still runs through everything they do. Like Boeing, I understand the pride and the pressure that comes with representing where you’re from. That’s why it means so much to be part of their story and to stand together in supporting and uplifting the people who make this region special.”

Among the honored organizations is the Seattle Aquarium, a beacon of marine conservation and education.

  • “We are deeply honored to be part of the Team of Champions alongside seven other remarkable community organizations,” said Peggy Sloan, President and CEO of the Seattle Aquarium. “Together, we’re not only inspiring conservation of our marine environment but also fostering positive change in the Seattle community. With the support of Boeing and the Seahawks, we’re united in our mission to create a brighter future for our one world ocean.”

As part of the program, each organization is celebrated at a Seahawks home game, where they are honored during halftime. This recognition not only highlights their contributions but also inspires others to join the effort to create positive change. The partnership between Boeing and the Seahawks underscores their commitment to uplifting organizations that align with their missions of community support.

Together, through the Team of Champions, these eight organizations are the backbone of the Puget Sound, creating a ripple effect of hope and inspiration. With the support of Boeing and the Seahawks, they are building stronger communities, one story at a time.
