COPENHAGEN, Denmark, July 10 — Boeing [NYSE: BA] welcomes Denmark’s decision to acquire Boeing P-8A Poseidon aircraft, marking an important step toward enhancing Denmark’s maritime patrol capabilities.

The P-8A Poseidon is a proven multi-mission maritime patrol aircraft designed to support anti-submarine warfare, anti-surface warfare, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, and search and rescue missions. With advanced mission systems, interoperability and long-range performance, the P-8A provides allied nations with a highly capable platform for strengthening maritime security.
More than 200 P-8 aircraft are currently in service or on contract across nine countries including Australia, Canada, Germany, India, New Zealand, Norway, Republic of Korea, United Kingdom, and the United States.
