More than 150 people gathered recently to welcome the newest Executive Technical Fellows to the Boeing Technical Fellowship, celebrating their expertise in a variety of areas spanning the full life cycle of all Boeing products, processes and services.
Fellowship Chair Janice Karty, a Principal Senior Technical Fellow, recognized the Fellow cohorts of 2020 through 2026.
“Each Fellow is a pillar of technical excellence at Boeing,” Karty said. “Together, we form a powerful network that drives innovation and gives our company a critical competitive advantage.”
Select individuals advance through the levels of the Boeing Technical Fellowship to earn the esteemed role of Executive Technical Fellow. Recognized as technology leaders within the company and in the broader industry, these Fellows assume executive responsibilities, providing technical leadership, mentoring, and cross‑organizational guidance as part of the Fellowship.
As trusted consultants, advisers and mentors, they play an important role in guiding the company’s technical vision and leading product safety and quality.
“This recognition reflects exceptional technical achievement, relentless curiosity, and a clear commitment to advancing Boeing’s mission,” said Howard McKenzie, chief engineer and executive vice president of Engineering, Test & Technology. “These Fellows help shape standards, influence roadmaps, guide training and development for our team, and strengthen our engineering culture. We congratulate them and thank them for growing and mentoring our engineering leaders.”
In the past two years,16 individuals have advanced to become Senior Technical Fellows; five have become Principal Senior Technical Fellows; and two have become Distinguished Senior Technical Fellows.
