Boeing Distribution and Hartzell Aviation (HA) have signed a new distribution agreement to supply more than 7,000 parts across Hartzell Aviation’s family of brands. The collaboration pairs Boeing Distribution’s global logistics, supply chain expertise and 24/7 e-commerce platform with HA’s broad portfolio of engine accessories, exhaust, engine mount and heating solutions tailored to general aviation operators and MROs.
“This agreement ensures operators can get the parts they need — when and where they need them,” said Ritesh Agarwal, Strategy and Business Development director, Boeing Global Services. “Boeing Distribution’s digital and global capabilities will shorten lead times and improve access.”
Keith Bagley, Group President, Signia Aerospace, parent company of Hartzell Aviation, added that “this partnership reflects Hartzell Aviation’s commitment to improving aircraft readiness across the general aviation market,” noting that working with Boeing Distribution expands HA’s ability to serve customers worldwide with the trusted brands they rely on.
Why it matters
The agreement strengthens Boeing Distribution’s business and general aviation offering, and protects and enhances existing relationships in that market by providing reliable access to high-quality starters, alternators, heaters, fuel pumps, ignition systems, turbocharger components, exhaust, engine mounts and related parts. Operators and MROs will be able to access HA parts through Boeing Distribution’s e-commerce platform at shop.boeing.com/distribution.
HA’s family of brands includes Hartzell Engine Technologies, Hartzell Aviation MRO, Lamar Technologies, Aerospace Welding, Plane-Power, POWERUP, Sky Tec, FuelCraft and AeroForce Turbocharger Systems
