The U.S. Department of War has awarded Boeing a $2.38 billion contract to manufacture 22 more F-15EX aircraft for the U.S. Air Force.

The big picture: Boeing is now under contract with the U.S. Air Force for full production of Lots 1 through 7, bringing the total number of F-15EX aircraft under contract to 120.

What’s next: Boeing will deliver Lot 3 aircraft through the remainder of the year and continue to work closely with the U.S. Air Force and the Department of War to increase the F-15EX production rate to two aircraft per month.
