My career has focused on enabling aircraft in the operational phase of their lifecycle. This work has been with airlines and maintenance organizations, providing Boeing customer support, and enabling operational understanding of the data. The operational phase is where our products spend most of their lifecycle, and it is also when our customers engage with and utilizeour aircraft, presenting us with opportunities to truly delight them.
Maintenance is an essential aspect of aviation. Every product requires maintenance to ensure safety and reliability, principles that are foundational in our industry. I have been fortunate to work in and influence this area, particularly as the industry shifts from a reactive to a proactive maintenance approach.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is the opportunity to set the technical vision and lead initiatives aimed at reducing the maintenance burden across the aviation industry. I am privileged to engage with engineering and management teams to develop and deliver capabilities that meet our customers' evolving demands.
The Boeing Technical Fellowship not only ensures that technical excellence is instilled in our products and services but also provides a trusted process to select and develop the next generation of technical leaders.
With each new aircraft, we are harnessing increasing volumes of data. Through industry-wide digital transformation, our understanding of aircraft health, operations, and maintenance is continually evolving. We are moving toward a future where conscious aircraft are integrated into a conscious operational and maintenance ecosystem. I come to work every day thinking about and working toward a future where the maintenance and support of our products are predictive, efficient, and tailored to ensure safe and reliable operations that meet our customers' missions.
