I began my career as a flight dynamics and controls engineer, but, separately, I have been coding since I was eight years old. Those paths intersected nicely, and I ended up implementing and deploying a lot of flight controls and simulation software firsthand. The features and behaviors of aerospace products are increasingly defined as software, and I love the challenge of building them safely, robustly, and for maintainability.
I love working with bright engineers to understand and solve complex challenges, and learning in the process.
The Boeing Technical Fellowship is an opportunity to serve, to learn, and to practice technical leadership across a broad range of teams and products.
It’s exciting to bring the lessons learned in software engineering to other areas and problem domains, and vice versa.
