Observing Memorial Day

Honoring those who gave everything

This Memorial Day and every day, Boeing teammates remember the military service members, who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the nation, and their surviving loved ones. Boeing is honored to partner with both TAPS and Travis Manion Foundation to support the families of the fallen and ensure their legacies are never forgotten.

TAPS

TAPS The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) is the national organization providing compassionate care for the families of America’s fallen military heroes. Funded in part by Boeing, TAPS provides peer-based emotional support, grief and trauma resources, grief seminars for adults, Good Grief Camps for children, case work assistance, connections to community-based care, and a 24/7 resource and information helpline for all who have been affected by a military death. Services are provided free of charge. TAPS has offered support to more than 100,000 surviving family members of our fallen military since 1994.

For more information or to receive support from TAPS, please call 202-959-TAPS (202-959-8277) or visit TAPS.org.

Travis Manion Foundation

Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) empowers veterans and families of fallen heroes to unite communities and strengthen America's national character by developing and leading future generations. In 2007, 1st Lt. Travis Manion (USMC) was killed in Iraq while saving his wounded teammates. Today, Travis’s legacy lives on in the words he spoke before leaving for his final deployment, “If Not Me, Then Who…” Guided by this ethos, veterans across the country continue their service by mentoring youth and serving in their communities. With the help of committed partners like Boeing, TMF is able to provide the Spartan Leadership Program, a 7-month learning experience of personal growth and leadership development to ensure the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation.

Additional information about TMF can be found at travismanion.org.
