P-8 Training Quick Facts

  • The first trainers, which were developed and built in St. Louis, were delivered to the U.S. Navy in 2011.
  • Boeing has delivered more than two dozen electronic classrooms to the U.S. Navy’s P-8A Integrated Training Center at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Fla.
  • The U.S. Navy uses Boeing’s ground based P-8 Training system to complete up to 70 percent of required training. Only 30 percent of P-3 Orion training occurs on the ground.
